0ur client contacted us because they wanted to expand their living space to include a true outdoor room. The solution involved removing the existing decking and replacing it with a paver patio. The curved wall serves the dual purpose of defining the “room” and creating a conversation area with plenty of seating around an in-ground fire pit. The grill is built in with a granite countertop for food prep so the host and hostess are never far from the party.

The homeowner had done a total property renovation that accentuated the beautiful views of the lake.  So when it came time to landscaping the shoreline, they wanted to be equally conscientious while given careful consideration to the ecology of the site.  The solution was to bring in plants that were native to the landscape but to do so in a way that was pleasing to the eye.  The paver patio was a great dividing point between the rolling lawn and the shoreline.  Native blueberry bushes were added as were dogwood shrubs and spirea.  The results were aesthetically pleasing as well as conservation minded.

When the new homeowners moved in, the driveway was uneven and cracked.  Rather than replace it with asphalt, they decided to install a paver driveway with brick accents.  Adding a little whimsy to the project is a built in fire pit.

Our client had two areas they wanted addressed.
First they wanted to add several beds to dress up a tool shed but they were interested in an established look.  The solution was to use mature plants.  The results were fantastic – the shed looks as though it has been there for years and the beds present an inviting entry.

The other area was an exposed foundation that they wanted to camouflage.  To achieve this we added a set of flagstone steps and two raised beds.  Again the finished product looked as though it had been flourishing for years.

This client had an in-ground pool they were no longer using.  They had decided to remove the pool.  We were brought in to back fill the pool area, level the yard and hydro seed.  For all of our lawn renovations we machine rake and then hand rake the area before applying the slurry of seed, fertilizer, mulch and water.

This project took place at The Kittredge School, a local elementary school.  The beds were overgrown and tired.  We worked in conjunction with the School's PTO and their Green Team. Our crew pulled out all the old and overgrown shrubs then we cleaned and prepped the beds so they were ready for the kids and the boy scouts to plant bulbs and spread mulch.

We were so glad to get to pitch in on this great community project and we look forward to spring when all those bulbs bloom!!
